Brazilian Power Giant Conducts Comprehensive Audit at POWTECH

From January  26th to 28th, 2026，In a significant milestone for POWTECH's global quality recognition, a delegation from Eletrobras, a leading Brazilian power utility, conducted a rigorous facility audit at our manufacturing plant . The primary objective of the visit was to assess the implementation and effectiveness of our Quality Management, Environmental Management, and Occupational Health & Safety management systems.

The audit team, consisting of senior engineers and supply chain specialists from Eletrobras, placed particular emphasis on the production lifecycle and testing protocols for our specialized power distribution product—Insulation Piercing Connectors. These critical components are essential for reliable and safe electrical connections in grid infrastructure.

In-depth Documentation Review: Meticulous examination of procedures, records, and control documents related to the ISO tri-system standards, ensuring processes are well-documented and consistently followed.

On-site Production Line Inspection: The delegation witnessed the entire manufacturing process of cable piercing connectors firsthand—from raw material inspection and productive process, product test and final packaging. They paid close attention to quality control checkpoints and workstation safety practices.

Product Testing Demonstration: A key segment involved live demonstrations of critical product performance tests in our laboratory. This included mechanical strength tests and environmental resistance tests etc, validating that our IPC meet stringent international and customer-specific specifications.

Management System Interviews: Engaging discussions were held with department heads and floor staff to evaluate the practical understanding and integration of quality, environmental, and safety management principles into daily operations.
